Our company was founded in 1963, when Mr. Oliver
K. Hobbs and Mr. J. Carlie Adams formed a
partnership to provide innovative solutions to meet
the changing demands of the agricultural industry.
Peanut harvesting has changed significantly over the past sixty years, and
AMADAS is the global leader for advanced harvest systems for peanuts. As an
example, AMADAS developed the largest and highest capacity self-propelled
peanut combine in the world, in a joint venture with John Deere.
In addition to peanut harvesting machinery, AMADAS Industries produces Reel
Rain® irrigators, cotton equipment, Iong-reach mowers and industrial
equipment.
AMADAS Industries is headquartered in Suffolk,
Virginia, with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities
